OUR BULLS

    CHARLEY

    Charley is a dun highpark (75% highland) calf that we retained from a Maryanne and Two Cow Tribe Koda breeding. He is 4 years old, was 19” tall at birth, and is chondro-positive. Charley has sired many phenomenal calves for us over the past year with thick, proportianate bodies and nice wide heads. We will be retaining many of his offspring to add to our fold.

    ROMEO

    Romeo is a coming 5 year old white bull (carrying the wild gene) purchased from Williams Midway Farm. We purchased Romeo to bring small non-chondro genetics into our fold. Romeo comes from small genetic non-chondro lines, is short, docile, and has curly hair! Romeo is paired with a few of our highparks to give us more % highland and is also paired with some of our heifers and chondro gals for calving ease! He has proven to throw very small birth weights, which has been essential when breeding down.

    RAMBO

    I am excited to add Rambo to our fold! Bred by Wonder livestock, Rambo is 3 years old and 41” from his top line. Rambo is 75% highland, has the perfect head, gorgeous markings, and fanastic hair! Rambo was added to our program to cross with some of our highland gals. His first baby hit the ground this past Fall and we are expecting many babies from him in 2026.

    BULLSEYE

    Bullseye is what dreams are made of! Bred by Pandarosa, Bullseye joined our farm in early 2025 to add to our growing panlander program. Bullseye is just shy of 3 years of age and 33” tall from his top line. Bullseye encompasses those coveted panda markings with the highland hair. His first babies will hit the ground in 2026.

    BOUGIE

    Bougie joined Winding Brooke in Spring of 2022. He is a 6 year old chondro positive micro mini highland measuring 37” from his top line. Bougie is short backed, stocky, wide chested, and has the hair that we want to make sure is incorporated into our program! Bougie has sired many calves here at Winding Brooke and we are expecting a few of his calves in 2026 (Abigail, Cinnamon, Doreen, and Jewels).

    NORMAN

    Winding Brooke added Norman to our fold in 2021. Norman is a coming 5 year old chondro positive micro highpark that came from Diamond B Ranch in South Dakota. His sire and dam were 36” and 42” full-grown. Norman has given us several gorgeous calves and is paired with Petunia, Lucy Too, and Maryanne for 2026.

    WINDING BROOKE'S CHECKMATE

    WB’s Checkmate is a retained bull calf from our Fall 2025 calf crop. Checkmate is sired by Winding Brooke’s Charley x Millie. This amazing bull calf is chondro positive, 87.5% highland, and is one thick dude. Checkmate is a second generation bull calf from Winding Brooke genetics. This guy is sure to be a game changer in the industry.

  • WINDING BROOKE'S HAMMERDOWN

    WB’s Hammerdown is a retained bull calf from our Winter 2025 calf crop. Hammerdown is a Romeo x Pansy pairing, making him 75% highland. He is chondro positive and silver with a nice head and compact structure. Hammerdown will make his debut in 2028 and we are already excited for him to make his mark here at Winding Brooke.

OUR COWS

    Louise

    Louise is a 7 year old yellow midsize highland that came to us in early 2021 from Rocking Ridgeway Ranch in Oklahoma. 43” from the top line at 4 years of age, this gal has the size, docility, and hair that makes her a great part of our program. Louise has had four calves on our farm and will be exposed to both Bougie and Charley for a Fall 2026 calf.

    Doreen

    Doreen is a 7 year old white highland cow with the most unique horns. Doreen is 44” from the top line and has the most gorgeous hair. Doreen has given us 3 beautiful heifer calves and will be bred back to Bougie for late 2026 calf.

    Maryanne

    Maryanne is a 7 year old highpark cow. Maryanne is nonchondro and 45” from her top line. She is jet black in color and is THE BEST mama. She has produced 5 calves on our ranch and is bred to Norman for a Spring/Summer 2026 calf.

    Maybelle

    Maybelle is a coming 6-year-old full highland cow that joined us from Holly’s Highlands in Colorado in 2020. She is dun and has the best personality. She is always the first one to greet you. Maybelle is 43” from her top line. Maybelle has naturally produced three phenomenal calves with loads of hair and is also a donor cow in our embryo program. She brings the compact size, nice square head, and loads of hair to her progeny. Maybelle will be bred back to Charley for a 2026 calf.

    Mocha

    Mocha is a 4 year old dun highland heifer that came to us from D&D Miniature Cattle Company. She is sired by Oxley and we are SO excited to have her in our program. She has given us 2 beautiful heifer calves and will be bred back to Charley for a late 2026 calf. Mocha is also a donor in our embryo program.

    Gemma

    Gemma is a coming 4-year-old highpark heifer that came to us from D&D Miniature Cattle Company in Idaho. This girl is a DREAM. Gemma is very short (40.5” from her top line), compact, and full of hair. She will be paired with Charley for a late 2026 calf and is a donor in our embryo program. Gemma has produced some of the best highpark calves on the market. We could not be more excited to have this gal as a part of our fold.

    Abigail

    Abigail is a 5-year-old dun highland that came to us from D&D Miniature Cattle Company in Idaho. Abigail is a beautiful dun color with the extreme hair that we love. She is short and compact. Abigail has given us two beautiful calves and will be bred back to Bougie for a Spring/Summer 2026 calf.

    Jewels

    Jewels is a 6-year-old brindle highland that came to us from D&D Miniature Cattle Company. Jewel’s brindling is remarkable and quite striking. She has given us two heifer calves and is bred back to Bougie, for the first time, for a Summer 2026 calf.

    Lucy Too

    Lucy Too is a 7 year old yellow highland cow with the most amazing hair. She is a mama to Teddy. Both have amazing conformation, hair, and a personality that is icing on the cake! Lucy Too will be bred to Norman for a Summer 2026 calf.

    Pansy

    Pansy is a 5-year-old Panlander and is everything we have been wanting to add to our fold for a long time to set a foundation for our Panlander program. Pansy was bred by Pandarosa Ranch and is chondro postive. She is short, thick, and has the most gorgeous markings! She is also SUPER sweet and brings that desired docility to our program. Pansy gave us a beautiful calf this year and is bred back to Romeo for a Spring 2026 calf. Pansy is also a donor in our embryo program.

    Rory

    Rory is a 43”-4-year-old miniature highpark. Rory is small, compact, and has the head that we love! Rory has gorgeous dark dun tips and the sweetest personality. Rory gave us an absolutely beautiful heifer calf in 2025 and will be bred back to Romeo for a Summer/Fall 2026 calf.

    Betty Boop

    Betty Boop is a 2 year old chondro positive panda calf that we added to our upcoming Panlander program. We chose Betty Boop because of her very striking markings including her panda eyes and full belt. She also has the BEST personality that we are hoping she passes to her offspring. Betty Boop will be paired with Romeo at the end of this year.

    Betty White

    Betty White is a coming 4-year-old red-tipped highpark heifer added to Winding Brooke Mini Ranch in early 2023. Betty White joined us from Diamond B Ranch in South Dakota and is expected to mature in the mid size mini range. Betty White gave us a beautiful heifer calf (Autumn) this year. She will be paired with Charley for a Summer 2026 calf.

    Elsie

    Elsie is a 4 year old 44” heavy chrome highpark heifer added to our ranch in Spring 2023 from Pleasant Hill Cattle in Mississippi. Elsie Elsie is midsize with a nice wide body and the BEST personality. Elsie gave us a very sweet bull calf in 2025 and will be paired with Romeo for a Spring 2026 calf to give us a 75% highland baby with lots of hair.

    Winding Brooke's Fancy

    Fancy is a 5-year-old high park heifer that came to us from Oklahoma. She is petite in size and produced a beautiful flashy heifer in 2024. Fancy is very docile and has incredible dun-high park markings! Fancy gave us a tiny little bull calf in 2025 and is bred back to Romeo for a Spring 2026 calf.

    Winding Brooke's Polly

    Polly is a 5-year-old 42.” silver heifer that came to us from Missouri. Polly is a UNICORN in the industry. She is extremely short, compact, has the most perfect head, and has the shaggiest hair! Polly gave us a gorgeous silver-tipped heifer calf in 2024 (whom we retained-Bunny) and a beautiful dun bull calf in 2025. Polly will be paired with Charley for a Summer 2026 calf and is a donor in our embryo program.

    Winding Brooke's Pearl

    Pearl is a 4-year-old white highland heifer that came to us from Honey Bee Cattle Co in Missouri. She is a LOOKER. White as snow and full of shaggy hair. She is paired with Charley for a summer 2026 calf.

    RCM Winnie

    Winnie is a 3-year-old silver chondro heifer that came to us from RCM Miniature Cattle Company in Colorado. We are so excited for this gal who is a complete unicorn. Winnie will be paired with our Romeo in late 2025 and will also be a donor in our embryo program. We can’t wait to watch her grow and look forward to her future here at Winding Brooke.

    Lucy

    Lucy is a beautiful coming 6-year-old full mini highland and was our very first mini! Lucy came to us from HSB in Alabama. Lucy is bred to Charley for a Summer 2026 calf.

    Millie

    Millie is a coming 6-year-old full highland with the most amazing hair I have ever seen! She is short, compact, and very docile. Millie calved the most beautiful heifer calf this year and will be bred back to Rambo for a Fall 2026 calf. Millie is also a donor in our embryo program.

    Josie

    Josie is a coming 6-year-old silver full small framed highland. Josie was added to our ranch from HSB in Alabama and is the rarest most desired color among mini highland cattle. Josie is a unicorn! Josie will be paired with Rambo for an late 2026 calf and is also a donor in our embryo program.

    Teddy

    Teddy is a very sweet 5-year-old deep red brindle highland with the sweetest personality. Teddy has the best hair! She is short, compact, and one of our very favorites! Teddy calved a sweet red tipped heifer in 2025 and we discovered then that she carries the crop ear gene. However, Teddy posesses all of the attributes that we love and she will be paired with Rambo for a Fall 2026 calf.

    Dolly

    Dolly is a 6-year-old white midsize highland that came to us from D&D Miniature Cattle Company. Dolly is a gorgeous white, with incredible hair. Dolly is paired with Charley for a Summer 2026 calf.

    Lochlan

    Lochlan is a 7-year-old light yellow true miniature highland at 42” from her top line. Lochlan was added to our ranch from D&D Cattle Company in late 2023. Lochlan has given us 2 wonderful heifer calves and will be bred back to Charley for a Summer 2026 calf.

    Blanche

    Blanche is a coming 3-year-old highpark with dark red tips. Blanche is very small framed with bright red ears and flash throughout her hair. Blanche is paired with Bougie for a late 2026 calf.

    Bunny

    Bunny was born here at Winding Brooke and retained. Bunny is sired by Norman and her mama is Polly, our mini silver. Bunny is a silver-tipped highpark, which is hard to find! She has silver ears and silver front feet and is snow white everywhere else! She was 22.5” at birth and non-chondro. Bunny will be paired with Romeo this year for a late 2026 calf.

    Petunia

    Petunia is our oldest gal here at the farm at 9 years of age. Petunia came to us from D&D Cattle Co. Petunia is a full highland, midsize gal with a docile temperament. Petunia will be paired with Norman for a Spring 2026 calf.

  • Ruthie

    Ruthie joined us from RCM Miniature Cattle Company in 2024. She is a small framed panda heifer that we intentionally added to our fold to build our panda/panlander herd. Ruthie is small framed, wide and squatty, and has the most perfect markings. She also has an amazing personality and docility. Ruthie will be paired with Bullseye for a late 2026 calf.

    Annie

    Annie joined us with her pal Ruthie from RCM Miniature Cattle Company this past Fall. We could not be happier with this gal! Annie is a silver highbelt heifer and the first beltie we have added to the ranch! Her markings will stop you in your tracks! Annie will be a part of our highbelt and/or panda program here at Winding Brooke! Annie will be paired with Bullseye for a late 2026/early 2027 calf.

    Laffy Taffy

    My oh my look at this gal. Laffy Taffy is a homegrown girl and is a product of Winding Brooke’s Bougie x Winding Brooke’s Doreen. Laffy is chondro positive, thick, and stout as they come. She encompasses everything I love about the highland breed and more! Laffy is 87.5% highland and will be an up and coming mama in our fold. Laffy is a donor in our embryo program and will be paired with Romeo for an early 2027 calf.

    Jovie

    Jovie is another embryo baby from our Webb’s Ino X Gemma breeding! We couldn’t be happier with this pairing. Jovie is a flashy chondro positive deep red tipped gal. We are looking forward to this phenomenal girls future here at Winding Brooke!

    Tinsel

    Tinsel was exactly what I had in mind when pairing Winding Brooke’s Maybelle x Webb Pretty Boy together! Tinsel is 87.5% highland and is exactly what we had in mind when pairing these two together! Tinsel has a beautiful square head and compact frame. We can not wait to watch this girl mature.

    Butterbean

    Butterbean was bred by Singing Waters Ranch and was added to our fold to grow our panlander program Butterbean is a non-chondro, silver belted- tiny gal. Her dam is a silver panda and sire is Silver Splendor. We will be watching her grow and mature over the next couple of years, but look forward to what she will produce in our program.

    Honey

    Honey is a lovely non-chondro, petite, dun tipped highpark. Bred by Pandarosa, Honey is just shy of 3 years of age. She has the sweetest personality and is nice and fluffy. This gal will be paired with our Charley for a Spring 2026 calf.

    Uno

    Uno is a polled, dun tipped highpark just shy of 3 years of age! Uno is very short, compact, and has fantastic hair. She will be paired with our Charley for a 2026 calf- giving us the 75%+ highland hair that we love.

    Maple

    Maple is a 3 year old 100% highland bred by Pandarosa Ranch. This girl was recently added to our fold, because you can’t have too many small framed 100% highland heifers and this is another we just had to have. Maple is paired with Rambo for a Summer 2026 calf.

    Loretta is a chondro positive red tipped 2 year old highpark with the deep red tips that we love! She is short, compact, and stout! Loretta is as sweet as pie and we are looking forward to seeing what she produces. Loretta is confirmed bred to Romeo for a Summer 2026 calf.

    June

    June looks like Loretta’s twin except with dun and white markings! This girl is chondro positive and built as stout as they come. She is 2 years old and is paired with Romeo for a late 2026 calf. June is also a donor in our embryo program.

    Cinnamon

    Cinnamon is a 4 year old deep red 100% highland. Cinnamon has a small frame and is 43” tall at her top line. This girl encompasses the highland look that we love! Cinnamon is paired with Bougie for a Spring 2026 calf.

    Jolene

    Jolene is a 4 year old jet black 100% highland cow. Jolene is my absolute favorite color! She is 42” from her top line at 3 years of age and has a beautiful head. Jolene is paired with Rambo for a early 2026 calf.

    Pinky

    Pinky is a tiny little chondro positive highpark just shy of 3 years of age. Pinky was bred by Central Coast Miniature Cattle Company. Pinky is the first one to greet you anywhere you are and has the SWEETEST disposition. We always say cows aren’t dogs, but this one is pretty darn close. Pinky will likely always be too small to breed, but she will serve as our farm mascot :)

    Maggie Moo

    Maggie Moo is a non-chondro panlander heifer that came to us from Fidelis Miniature Cattle Company. Maggie Moo was added to our program to further grow our panda program. She will be paired with our Panlander Bullseye once she has fully matured. Until then, we will get the privilege of waching her grow and mature!

    Roani

    Roani is a coming 2 year old chondro positive heifer that came to us from Diamond B Ranch in SD. Roani is 50% shorthorn/50% highland cross with gorgeous roaning throughout her deep red color. We are looking forward to adding the highly sought after roan pattern to our program through this gal.

    West Point's Nutmeg

    Nutmeg is an AHCA registered heifer whose build is absolutely phenomenal. Born in March 2024, this girl is preparing for her first breeding season. Nutmeg comes from the GOF Ralph lineage and from an impact dam! We are looking forward to seeing what this girl brings to Winding Brooke.

    CSF Bayberry

    CSF Bayberry is an AHCA registered gal with the most beautiful FROSTING! Bayberry is deep red with blonde frosting throughout her coat. Born in May 2024, this gal is preparing for her first breeding season. Her pedigree contains old Scottish lines such as Bart of Benmore, Scone Palace, Glengorm, and Douneside.

    Viola

    Viola is a 3.5 year old panlander heifer that came to us from Pennsylvania. She is over 80% highland and is the perfect fit for our growing panda program. We are looking forward to her future here with us. Viola will be AI’d to Bullseye for a late 2026 calf.
