Welcome to the world, Punkin! Punkin was born on 8/30 at 22” tall to Bougie x Doreen. We have repeated this exact breeding for the last 3 years because of how amazing these heifers are. We retained last years pairing (Laffy Taffy). Doreen has given us 4 heifers in her lifetime and all have been phenomenal. Punkin is presumed non-chondro (test pending), yellow, and 87.5% highland. She will be ready for her new home at weaning in January.

Poppy is a tiny little heavily chromed highpark heifer that was bred by Central Coast Cattle Company. Poppy is 2 years old, chondro positive, and very tiny! She is too small for our breeding program, but would be a fantastic yard ornament and is very sweet. Poppy is ready to go any time and will be up to date on vaccinations/worming prior to her departure.

Welcome to the world, Autumn! Autumn has kicked off our Fall calving season and boy was she worth the wait! Autumn was born 8/26 at 19.5” tall to Winding Brooke’s Charley x Betty White. Betty White is a first time mama and we couldn’t ask for better. Autumn is 75% highland, will be dun in color, and chondro positive. She has a very thick build and nice highland head.

Welcome to the world Cancun! Cancun is a little steer calf born on a hot summer day in July to Bougie x Louise! Cancun is fluffy with the cutest little head. He is suspected chondro negative (test pending), yellow, and will be horned. Cancun will be ready for his home in December at weaning.

Welcome to the world, Bumblebee (yes there is quite a funny story behind her name). Bumblebee was born at 18” tall to Winding Brooke’s Charley x Mocha. This girl is absolutely phenomenal in structure. She will be jet black and is presumed chondro positive (test pending). Bumblee will be ready for her new home at weaning in the Dec/Jan timeframe.

Laguna was born on 6/11 at a whopping 19” tall to Lochlan x Norman. Laguna is 75% highland with deep red ears and a very small petite frame. She is chondro positive and will be horned. This girl will stop you in your tracks when you see her and we couldn’t be more proud to have produced her. Laguna will be ready for her new home at weaning in November.

Welcome to the world, Baysley! Baysley was born on 7/17 to Norman x Jewels! Baysley is a whopping 18.5” tall and presumed chondro positive (test pending). She is a beautiful yellow gal with a thick build. Baysley will be ready for her new home at weaning in December!

Welcome to the world, Kailua! Kailua was born on 6/21 to Abigail x Bougie. Kailua is non-chondro (test pending) and black! Kailua was born at 22” tall and is one phenomenal heifer calf. She is thick bodied and has the largest ears! I am looking forward to watching this one grow! Kailua will go to her new home at weaning in November.

Welcome to the world, Banks! This dude will absolutely stop you in your tracks. Banks is a Norman x Maryanne breeding, chondro positive (test pending), and dun tipped. Banks was born at 18” tall on 5/28 and is 75% highland. Banks does have the slightest imperfection in his upper ear, which would likely classify him as a crop ear carrier (purely cosmetic and passed to 50% of calves). That being said- every other aspect of this bull calf is absolutely perfect and he can be sold as either a bull or a steer calf. Banks will be ready for his home at weaning in October.

Welcome to the world Blue! Blue is a tiny steer calf and chondro positive! He is a deep rich dun color and is 62.5% highland. Blue will stay very small :) This was a repeat breeding from 2024- Fancy x Norman. Blue will be ready for his new home in the August timeframe.

Welcome to the world, Ember! Ember is a non-chondro (test pending), red tipped highpark! Ember does have crop ear so her ears will be smaller, but otherwise she is one gorgeous gal! Ember will have loads of hair (75% highland) and has a nice wide structure. This gal will be ready for her new home at weaning in September.

Welcome to the world, Crimson! Crimson was born on Easter Sunday and we couldn’t have been more excited! This was a Norman x Lucy Too breeding and this little guy has it all. Presumed chondro negative (test pending), Crimson is small, thick, and will have lots of fluff as he is 75% highland. Crimson will be ready for his new home at weaning in the September timeframe.

We have decided to offer up one of our keepers, Evie! Evie is a non-chondro highpark heifer out of Gemma x Webb’s Ino. Evie is just shy of 5 months old and is currently working on halter training and socialization. Evie’s test results say she will be horned, but there are no signs of her having horns just yet, which leads us to believe she may be polled or a late bloomer :). Evie is an excellent prospect for any breeding program, out of small parents and expected to mature in the mini-midsize range in height. Evie will be ready for her new home in May, but also we won’t be sad if she stays here at Winding Brooke!

Sugar is the most adorable little chondro highpark. Sugar is a very tiny gal with fabulous hair and the cutest face you have ever seen. Sugar came to us as a part of a herd dispersal and is going to be just a little too small for our breeding program. She is chondro positive (will confirm all testing). She is also very very sweet and would make someone a fabulous little addition.

Peaches is a tiny little heavily chromed highpark heifer. Peaches was bred by Flat Rock Minis and is chondro postive. Peaches is 18 months old and incredibly tiny. She is a little too small for our breeding program, but be a great addition for anyone looking for a yard ornament, petting zoo, or companion heifer! She is also as sweet as can be!

Our Norman x Polly baby for 2025 has arrived! Slate was born 3/14 unassisted. We retained this pairing’s calf last year and were really excited to see their offspring this year! Slate is presumed chondro positive and dun (test pending). Slate will be ready for his home in August at weaning.
