Forrest was an embryo baby from a Charley x Millie pairing! These two make the best calves. This guy came into the world at a whopping 26” tall. He is jet black in color with the most beautiful head and structure. He can be steered or a breeding bull prospect. He will be ready for his new home in February at weaning.

Punkin'- $10,000
Welcome to the world, Punkin! Punkin was born on 8/30 at 22” tall to Bougie x Doreen. We have repeated this exact breeding for the last 3 years because of how amazing these heifers are. We retained last years pairing (Laffy Taffy). Doreen has given us 4 heifers in her lifetime and all have been phenomenal. Punkin is presumed non-chondro (test pending), yellow, and 87.5% highland. She will be ready for her new home at weaning in January.

Poppy is a tiny little heavily chromed highpark heifer that was bred by Central Coast Cattle Company. Poppy is 2 years old, chondro positive, and very tiny! She is too small for our breeding program, but would be a fantastic yard ornament and is very sweet. Poppy is ready to go any time and will be up to date on vaccinations/worming prior to her departure.

Betty White is a first time mama and we couldn’t ask for better. Autumn is 75% highland, will be dun in color, and chondro positive. She has a very thick build and nice highland head.

This girl will stop you in your tracks when you see her and we couldn’t be more proud to have produced her. Laguna will be ready for her new home at weaning in November.

Welcome to the world, Kailua! Kailua was born on 6/21 to Abigail x Bougie. Kailua is non-chondro (test pending) and black! Kailua was born at 22” tall and is one phenomenal heifer calf. She is thick bodied and has the largest ears! I am looking forward to watching this one grow! Kailua will go to her new home at weaning in November.

Welcome to the world, Banks! This dude will absolutely stop you in your tracks. Banks is a Norman x Maryanne breeding, chondro positive (test pending), and dun tipped. Banks was born at 18” tall on 5/28 and is 75% highland. Banks does have the slightest imperfection in his upper ear, which would likely classify him as a crop ear carrier (purely cosmetic and passed to 50% of calves). That being said- every other aspect of this bull calf is absolutely perfect and he can be sold as either a bull or a steer calf. Banks will be ready for his home at weaning in October.

We have decided to offer up one of our keepers, Evie! Evie is a non-chondro highpark heifer out of Gemma x Webb’s Ino. Evie is just shy of 5 months old and is currently working on halter training and socialization. Evie’s test results say she will be horned, but there are no signs of her having horns just yet, which leads us to believe she may be polled or a late bloomer :). Evie is an excellent prospect for any breeding program, out of small parents and expected to mature in the mini-midsize range in height. Evie will be ready for her new home in May, but also we won’t be sad if she stays here at Winding Brooke!

Sugar is the most adorable little chondro highpark. Sugar is a very tiny gal with fabulous hair and the cutest face you have ever seen. Sugar came to us as a part of a herd dispersal and is going to be just a little too small for our breeding program. She is chondro positive (will confirm all testing). She is also very very sweet and would make someone a fabulous little addition.
